Yesterday was the opening ceremony for Carly's softball league. It's a small group, with only one team per 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. This park also hosts a girls fastpitch softball team with the boys' baseball and the tee-ball, so I'm guessing that's where most of the bigger girls are. The ceremony was really cool - they had one girl sign the pledge of allegiance and another girl sang the national anthem and did really well. Then they called each player's name and the chaplain gave the invocation.
I'm posting these two pictures because in one, Carly looks like my sweet little baby girl, and in the other, I can see the sweet big grownup girl she's going to be.
