Bree's Birthday

Oh, hi! I figured out how to get pictures from my phone to this blog...it takes fifteen million steps, but they come out great, so we're going with it. Yay!

Here is Bree napping on her dad at 3 weeks old. 

At at three years...it's amazing. Just like every mom says on each birthday, I can't believe she's already three. Time is going by so fast. It seems like yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital. She's so big. All of it...our sweet, crazy girl.

So pretty on her actual birthday! That week, Paul had to qualify on the shooting range. It's pretty far from us and they start at 4:30am for some unknown reason, so Paul was getting up a little before 3am and was just too wiped out at the end of the day to give Bree's actual birthday the time and attention he wanted to. We pushed her celebration back to the following Sunday, which worked out FINE - we got a new fun birthday package in the mail each day that week and then got to do our family party.

Birthday party day!!! It was quiet and simple, but she kept saying "It's mine birthday party!!!" over and over and giggling and clapping her hands, so we figured it was a success. Your kid feeling SUPER special on her day is the most important thing, and we achieved that with ten feet of streamers and a cookie cake! Paul will love to remind me of that next year when we do the Big Bash thing again...but I'll selectively forget. =)

And a puzzle! She actually picked this one out when we were in Wilmington the other week, so she was super excited to actually see it in her house! Right after the party we went to the fun water park close to our house and spent the afternoon splashing around. It was a GREAT birthday party day!
