Tennis

I was far too cold to take photos.

Carly was wearing thick tights, sweat pants, leg sweaters,a turtleneck, a long sleeved t-shirt, a hoodie sweatshirt and gloves. Her cheeks were very pink but she wasn't shivering. I was. It was ridiculous...and just think! I have fourteen to twenty more years of freezing my tookus off while my children participate in sporting activities!

Yikes. But, on a brighter note, I think today alone earned me that floral thermos I told you about a few weeks ago. Don't you just love a good impractical fabulous thing?

Anyway, I came on here to let you know that Paul lived up to all of our expectations of him about Carly and sports. He couldn't stay off the court. He kept coaching Carly from the sidelines when he wasn't complaining to me about all the warmups they were doing or how long it was taking for them to get ready for the drills or how they were only doing two drills or how Carly was being taught the wrong way to do a backhand... I'm sure the coaches are thinking that WE are the psycho parents for this session. If you could have seen Paul scowling and pacing up and down the side of the court...you would have thought it was Olympic training, not Carly's second lesson of peewee tennis. He was terrible...and it was SO cute! Oh my word - he's never been a sweeter dad. I just wanted to hug him for being so adorable but he was too prickly and on edge for all that nonsense. =)

hehehe.... I love it. I can TOTALLY picture Paul pacing back and forth. Something about his long legs makes it easy for me to picture. LOL!!!!

I LOVE it!!! I have a feeling I'm going to be one of those parents...so I might just have to put my kid in a sport that I know NOTHING about...like hockey! :)
