On Friday we stopped by the pool to visit with some of our friends for a few minutes before we picked up Carly at school. Bree was SO funny...first she tested the water with one little toe...
Then tapped her little foot in it...
Then she and Grady went NUTS kicking! It was super cute! You can see me pulling her dress - I was so nervous while I had the camera that she'd dive in!
This is Steph! It's the world's best vanilla cupcake, all dressed up for Labor Day. Steph was one of my very first military-wife friends and hands-down THE most patriotic person I have ever met. She's also a cheerleader, so Carly helped with the spirited decorations (Including the icing! She's getting really good at that!). The real Steph loves holidays, too, so her cupcake is also pretty darn excited about getting all fancy for this year's festivities.

and I'm completely honored and touched to have such an awesome cupcake named after me. seriously when i read it on facebook, i got a little choked up...and now seeing this post - geez, my heart strings are totally pulled! Thanks. I know it is 'just' a cupcake, but i'm totally touched!!! hugs! :)
