My Grandad and Grandma Louise are in Bogalusa (about an hour straight north of us) taking care of some family business this week, so we went up to see them! They are cleaning out this house - it's a BIG job. Grandad sat on a broken chair...and it sort of fell right apart and he cut his hand. If you look closely, you can see that Carly was VERY concerned about it! She kept asking him if he was okay.
Discussing the finer points of bandaids and how they make even scary looking boo-boos inflicted by rickety furniture, all better right away.
We don't have the first clue what this is SUPPOSED to be...so I'll tell you what it IS: two yellow washcloths crocheted together with an oval wooden hoop on top and strung with a yellow ribbon. Your guess is as good as mine, but Carly thought it made an awesome purse.
Bogalusa is actually a much cuter little town than the name might suggest, but if you're looking for a restaurant that isn't a) a Chinese buffet or b) fast food...well...this one looked nice, but it was closed.
Then we found a great seafood place down the road! Steph - look! That pitcher is full of sweet tea and there was one just like it ON EVERY TABLE. I knew you'd appreciate that. =)

We had such a great time visiting and we're excited to get back up there on Sunday to hang out again. Carly was really well-behaved, especially considering she was napless today, and she is still asking about Grandad and Grandmom 'Weeze. So cute!

I love love Sweet tea there is no where around here that makes it like the south...The closest I get is Carl Jr...Not the same I miss livin down south enjoy a good cold Sweet Tea for me!!
