Happy 4th!

We had a great day and there are lots of photos, but it's too late to post them now. We're headed to Sea World tomorrow and I'll try to get both days up tomorrow night if we don't get eaten by any large sea creatures.

But first, one story of Carly and her new verbal skills.

While we were shopping this morning, Amanda wanted to get caramel apples, so we did and Carly loved it! Then later, we went to a barbecue with our friends, Kalyn and Paisley and Paisley was carrying around half an apple...so in the car? On the way home? Amanda and I were talking to Carly about all the things we did that day, including riding on the little motorized Bert and Ernie Firetruck at the outlets in the morning and we said "and you had a yummy apple?" And Carly says, "no, just Paisley had the apple."

She's such a smart cookie!

And such a good girl - she has a pretty yucky ear infection, but she's on antibiotics to clear it up and the doctor gave us some numbing drops to help with the pressure when she goes to bed. Tonight, I had Carly put her head down in my lap and she didn't squirm or fuss at all when we put the drops in! She just said thank you and then went to bed.
