Funny story!
We had an unplanned playdate today when one of our Brownie friends' mom fell asleep and didn't come to pick her up until a few hours after our event ended this afternoon. (Can you imagine the panic when she woke up and saw the clock? I would have freaked!)
Anyway, our poor friend got sucked into the vortex that is our Sunday Night Routine and joined us for dinner. We were having tuna pasta, peas and applesauce, which is totally kid food, right? WRONG. And ohhhh how wrong I was. Our friend told us, in very specific detail, all the things she didn't like. She was so thorough that finally Bree said, "That is really RUDE, you know. If you don't like it, don't eat it; we don't want to sit here and hear all about it."
Can you guess what my standard line is when there are grumblings about the menu? =)
