Carly's Super Awesome, Totally Fun, and Surprisingly Scaly Birthday Party

I've never done a "package party" before, but due to our current insane circumstances, I gave myself a break and we had Carly's birthday party at the Pine Knoll Shores aquarium, just at the other end of the island from our house. It was so cool! The party allows for 12 kids and 12 adults, and we had two hostesses throughout. Unfortunately, only four of the people we invited chose to RSVP (that's a rant for another day), so I had NO idea how many kiddos to expect. I told our hostesses when we arrived that it could be anywhere between the 3 yesses we got or the full 15 kiddos we invited. We had a total of eight party girls including Bree and that was the perfect number.

The aquarium supplied everything we needed, and the kiddos (and grownups) were treated to a 45-minute reptile demonstration including visits with live animals, and then a tour behind the scenes of the exhibits. Our hostesses were knowledgeable, funny, and patient with the girls, and each girl was given a chance to participate. They all had a wonderful time!
