Baptism Day!

Our Baptism this morning went really well. Bree did surprisinly well considering she had to be in the church for hours and had a bunch of water poured on her head. She WAS up in the alter a bunch smelling the flowers and during the mass, her MomMom did keep up a steady stream of TicTacs...but whatever the reason, the girls did great and it was a beautiful ceremony and we have a couple of VERY loved little girls!
Carly and her Godparents, Uncle Pete and Aunt Amanda.
That's about right. Bree with her Godparents, Auntie K and Uncle Matty. In this one single photo, Bree's feet are actually on the ground - in all the other's she's in various stages of swinging from both of their hands. Monkey! But we wouldn't have her any other way.
It's not the most posed picture of us, but it's perfect anyway. =)
Legacy of love! Pete and Paul with their Godmothers, Aunt Louise and Aunt Diane.
Because a photo post wouldn't be complete without a pic of all the FOOD we had on our table! Haha - this was our brunch, minus the four amazing quiches Paul's dad brought down for us. The awesome runner is a sheet I bought at Target for the girls' new room.
Our pretty pretty fruit salad (that no one ate)...
Omigosh - the beautiful amazing baptism cake! One of our extremely talented neighborhood friends made this for us - it was exactly what I wanted, and you know how much I love getting exactly what I want. =) Just so beautiful!
Closeup of the monogram - the little fondant roses are making my day right now. So unbelievably cute!
With yummy fresh raspberry filling - just so perfect!
Fischer Men's PowWow in the backyard. I love seeing them all together, especially since it doesn't happen all that often. We had a fun time Saturday night discovering how very much alike they are!
Beautiful Auntie Amanda hanging out with a grouchy Bree. She and Pete celebrated their first wedding anniversary today! We are so happy they were able to spend part of their special day with us!
