Someone very small and cute crawled into my bed right after I'd found her sister watching muted (thank goodness) reruns of the Jersey Shore this morning and then that very small and cute person proceeded to kick me or wiggle for the next five hours. I got exactly three hours of sleep between 10 and 6. Anyone want to guess how happy I am right now?
Here's a hint: NOT VERY. =)
Fortunately my little Guidette is up and ready so that fight is over. And Paul helped with breakfast. Now I just have to contend with The Little Kicker. I can handle that.
PLUS, we're making a list of all the fun things we have coming up this year:
January: Paul's 30th birthday! We're celebrating early next Saturday and then we'll have a nice dinner on his actual birthday.
February: Sophia is having a bowling party before she moves - the party will be so fun! We'll have a little Valentine's get-together at our house then Carly's school party then our family celebration (just ordered the girls' flowers!). So excited! Paul will be going to Philly for the SuperBowl with Bree because Carly and I have stuff to do here Monday morning. Paul will be at OFEC for two weeks.
March: Tennis and swimming! Bree and I will take a Parent-and-Me class (note to self: bathing suit season has just been moved three months CLOSER). Paul leaves for the second part of his OFEC. Beeda is coming to visit!!! We're so excited! Before he leaves for 29 Palms, he'll be going to/planning one of his best friends' bachelor party. Also it's March Madness, Paul's favorite time of the year.
April: Paul will be gone almost all of this month. This isn't really something we're looking forward to, but it's happening. We'll be traveling to see Grandad and Grandma Louise (YAY!!!) and making a detour to look around the LeJeune area on our way back. Hopefully by that time we'll know about Carly's luck with the magnet school lottery and we might be looking at beach houses to rent!!!
May: My birthday! Always a good time. I'll be traveling to the wedding of a friend I made in jr. high. It sounds weird saying she's my second-oldest friend. =) The next weekend, we're traveling to Penn State for a long weekend for my baby sister's college graduation. Paul graduates from EWS the day we get back from that trip and his youngest brother Matt graduates from college the next weekend. Paul's mom is retiring from her job so I know we'll be celebrating that!
June, July: we will move at some point!!! It depends on whether Paul's new job needs him right away (not something I'd want b/c that would mean they're deploying soon) or whether he gets assigned to teach at OCS (for college graduates who want to be Marine Corps Officers) over the summer. This is a BIG question mark. At some point we hope to spend some time with Paul's family on the beach somewhere. We'll celebrate Carly's birthday at some point...this is the point where everything gets all vague.
August, etc. WHO KNOWS?! I think it's funny that in my life I can only really tell you with any certainty what we're planning for the next five months. Luckily we're good at not being boring, so there is enough in those months to fill up an entire year!

August.... you will be flying here, or Paisley and I will be flying there (depending on humidity at your location) :)
