This is from last night - Savannah came to play with us! It was a great surprise for Carly - she and Savannah just adore one another. They are very prolific little artists, as you can see. =)
This morning Savannah and her mama, and Carlys BFF from school Jane and her family met us at the main library (um, not the one downtown, Liz Fischer) to sign up for the summer reading program and meet the mascot for a local chicken finger place, Cane. Cane is a she, which was a surprise to all of us, and she's 10 years old and was so sweet to all these kids! Bree loved her so much!
Taking a photo for the library....it took a while for all the kids to sit down and by this point, Bree had said Cheeeeeese about twelve times and she was over it.

Okay, and then? I'll just translate for you. She said, "The dog is not wearing shoes, so I am not wearing shoes." (Goggie no dew-don-me. Me no dew-don-me. No, no, no. No dew-don-me) It was at this point that I had to carry Bree because she kept taking her stinking shoes off...which was sort of like wrestling an unhappy octopus. Haha, but she did make several new friends at the checkout line when Carly went to go have a fabulous impromptu playdate with Jane!

i love that they loved the dog...you can send Bree over to see Tucker at anytime...he is sweet and will be sweet to her!!! :)
and you know what i love about carly's friend, savannah? i love her hair - because i think that is what Kenzie's is going to look like...hopefully she is just as adorable about savannah!!! :)
