We have exactly five minutes before we're walking out the door to the farmer's market! The girls are sitting on the couch watching Max and Ruby...totally into it, actually. We don't watch a whole lot of TV, so when it's on, they're transfixed.
Today is Carly's big recital day! We're so excited!!! She has no idea what is in store for her - and I cannot WAIT to see what she does! I'm sure it will be awesome, no matter what happens. Their little outfits are light blue leotards with ivory tutus for ballet and little flowers for the hair. They are doing a ballet and a tap number but her teacher was thoughtful enough to just have the one costume. Did I mention I cannot wait?! I can't! We have the dress rehearsal at 10:30 and then the show is on at 5:30. So excited!
Okay, and then I'm just so happy because something I was hoping would go well last night, went well last night. What a relief. =) Plus we got our housing assignment for Quantico, so that's good. Paul's going to call and see if we can get in the other neighborhood we (I) wanted, but if they say no it's not a big deal because we officially have a house. It's a 1200 square foot, 3 bedroom house without a yard...but it's a house. On the base. So we won't be pitching a tent by the flagpole! =)
Alright, time's up! We're off to the market. Carly and Bree got the Putumayo Kids singalong CD (yes, we have five million of them - we love them) yesterday thanks to Borders' big fat 40% coupon, and one of the super silly songs is about a Bananaphone. Carly kept making up new phones....like zucchiniphone, potatophone, eggplantphone...haha
