Plans A through G

Hey guys! In order to help alleviate some of the confusion regarding our summer, here's what's going on.

Our house might sell, or we might rent, or we might send Paul to Quantico and commit fraud so that Carly can go to a decent school in Zachary while we stay here.

We'll hear by June 1 whether we got a house on base, so we'll either live on base, or rent, or stay here and Paul will sleep in his truck for a year, or we'll all stay in the Navy Lodge. They have kitchenettes! It will be like 10 months of vacation. =)

We'll move sometime between June 1 and August 3, but we don't know when. It depends on TMO. We do have access to 90 days of free storage, so that's good.

If we do sell the house and we do get approved for housing but one isn't available when we get to Quantico, we'll be approved for reimbursement if we need to stay in the Navy Lodge for a while. They have kitchenettes.

If we leave July 14, I will be attending the Eclipse movie with as many screaming soccer moms as I can get my hands on. If we leave June 1, I will be attending said movie alone, but in a theater full of screaming teenyboppers. Fun times.

So...hopefully that clears things up. I was a Girl Scout, so I like to BE PREPARED! What's funny is that there is nothing I can do about anything except be ready with a ream of contingency plans. I've been told that I am just as crazy now as I was in the fall of 2007 when we were waiting to see whether Paul would go to Japan to deploy a lot or would get this job. My apologies to those of you who will have to put up with me for the next two months, especially Paul. Poor guy. He deserves a lot of sympathy for having to put up with me in normal life but now, it's like whoa.
