Plan B

We were originally going to go to this one park that has a so-so playground and these big giant rolling hills to run around on, but when we pulled into the parking lot, there was this random guy just hanging out by his Bronco...he didn't look at all creepy, like he totally could have been waiting for his friends to play ultimate frisbee or something...but things never seem to end well when there is a Bronco involved so we left and went to:

It was soooo beautiful and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. If I'd had ANY idea we'd be here today, I would have put the girls in cuter clothes. The photo ops are endless. =)

Carly and Bree loved feeling these lamb's ears.

One huge hill, perfect for rolling.

ps: those shoes are driving me crazy right now.

By the main building - which is cool and modern with a super fab conference room - there is this big pavilion overlooking the pond. It has an upside down twig tree hanging from the center with twinkle lights...Carly said it was a tree chandelier...SO pretty! I was dying just imagining this place as a venue for a rustic-chic wedding or other awesome party.

We did a few rubbings of leaves we found, but some people came who obviously have the same party planning ideas as I do. We didn't want to be in the way while they set up, so we went to find another adventure.

Carly decided she wanted to go to "Lemur" park (Leeward) and lucky us, Starbucks is on the way. Oh stop, it IS on the way...sort of...anyway, as per our usual order, we asked the guy to put in half the normal amount of chocolate into their milk and it was still really dark (um, and totally delicious), so we had him split that again...and that worked. He was looking at the girls with such pity in his eyes. =)

And finally, onto Lemur park to play for an hour and eat some lunch! We're home now and resting up for our Earth Day Celebration adventures this afternoon. Bree is sleeping and Carly had been reading her books, but she's quiet now so I'm thinking she's probably out, too.

Full belly =)
