Blame it on the Rain

Two things happen to me when it rains a lot. 1) I make a lot of stuff and 2) My clothes don't fit any more. Lately it has been raining alot. Like every day this month, or so it seems. So, predictably, none of my clothes fit right, and I've made a bunch of stuff. Today it was pineapple upside down cake, a failed loaf of bread and this dress for Bree:

I actually just finished it up today. I did most of the work last night. It has all kind of complicated things I'd never really done before, like facing, and interfacing and stitching in the ditch (still don't really know what THAT is) and I was doing well until the zipper. So I took a photo of the front of the dress so you can't see the zipper being a hot mess. Anyway, I totally love it, and I took it as a sign that patterns are on sale for $2. I'm going to try and make festive (and much much simpler!!!) outfits for the girls right now, and I'll post photos when I'm done.
