Pretty!

This week is forecasted to be really pretty weather...next week, too with a couple of days of rain in-between. We can handle that! The 90+ heat was getting a little OLD! So needless to say, we spent pretty much the entire day outside. Bree and I stopped by our favorite park on the way home from dropping Carly off at school and played for an hour or so. See her reaching for my camera! NOT A CHANCE, baby!

Then after school we went to City Park because we'd told some people we'd be there...but it got really crowded and we hadn't heard from anyone so we went back to Leeward where it was just as gah-gah-gorgeous and without the crazy third graders trying to maul everyone. My camera makes me a little giddy...it's awesome! It has a setting for "Children in Bright Light" ie: exactly THIS, with blur reduction and high color saturation. So fancy! You can't even tell that Carly was flinging back and forth on this thing like a crazy girl.
The Beast. She's a master climber! I'm going to have to get quicker with the photos though...her hair was in two adorable stickin-straight-up ponytails for almost two minutes.

Also, she got new shoes. And a closeup of the springy astroturf which is one of my favorite things about this particular playground.
