The Green Gang!

The YMCA doesn't really keep score for little kid sports, but we smoked the Yellow Jackets, something like 24-2....as we found out halfway through those two boys who are a head taller than everyone else were actually supposed to be playing for the Green Grasshoppers which is a 5-6 year old team playing one field over from us. Apparently both of these big boys weren't able to make it to their team practices so they didn't know who their coach was...and we were wearing green, too...so...
Carly LOVES that her socks and water bottle match her shirt. Now we're on the hunt for a green soccer bow. This was about the end of happy for a while - soccer is much more chaotic than T-Ball and Carly literally had no idea what to do when there were twelve kids trying to kick the ball. About the same time we realized we had two ringers on the team, Carly got into it and had a GREAT time running around and giving high-fives to anyone who made contact with the ball.
So confused.
Then at the end...so funny! We watched college soccer on TV the other day and she saw the 'big girls' standing like this.
It wouldn't be soccer without orange slices!!!
Bree with her messy hair got in on the orange action, too.
Carly threw what is turning out to be her standard fit when it was time for us to leave. I don't know what it is, but she gets very sad even if I do all the 'right' things, like telling her over and over what is going to happen, giving a countdown (five more minutes, two more minutes) and giving lots of hugs...so because I couldn't handle the yelling, I let her borrow my camera and told her to take a picture of how she felt:
It's BREE!
Yikes - Mommy needs to do more pullups I think.
The bow on a new skirt. I love this!
