We have three official days left of summer, so I thought we should try some fresh strawberry cupcakes. I added pieces of cut-up strawberry to the batter and added cream cheese to this super yummy drippy messy strawberry buttercream icing.

I'm pretty sure someone is going to stage a cupcake intervention for me, but I have to tell you that they all have names now. This one is the Amy, after a friend of mine who used to make a fresh strawberry cake for dinner parties. It became famous because someone once said it looked like raw meat...and then he liked it so much he had two more pieces.
I don't know if this video will load or not...I hope it does because it is ADORABLE. My Grandad and Grandma Louise sent Bree a mermaid Barbie for her birthday because she loves Carly's Ariel Barbie....and this toy is her new favorite. Before she was me, she had been scooting in the little happy circle she does when she really likes something. =)
