Football Widow

Paul just inherited his brother's PS2. And then Paul discovered eBay, where he won a couple of games and a memory card for a great price....and then he won a bunch of other stuff, but told me not to worry because "You don't actually have to BUY the stuff you win." We talked about the difference between eBay and Craigslist, and we are both thankful that he didn't actually bid on the vintage basketball jersey and everything he won is less than $3.

Anyway, he's been playing NCAA football since he walked in the door, except during the hour and a half that he was on the phone with his boss. Between Sony and the Marine Corps, I might never actually get to speak to him again.

In other news we met our Un-Relatives! I should have gotten a photo...not that it would matter because I left my camera at our after-school playdate hostesses house! Anyway, Jessi is...let me back up. My dad's sister is Aunt Dottie. Jessi's mother-in-law's (or father-in-law's???) brother is Uncle Don. Aunt Dottie and Uncle Don are married and live in Portland. BAM! We're like four hundredth cousins eleven times removed or something. It's so crazy that we both live here and hate Wal-Mart.

The girls had a very long day today - it was mostly fun, but leaving our playdate and then leaving the park where we went for our picnic dinner were both NOT fun. I ended up having to pick Carly up and carry her sideways out of the park while she kicked and screamed and told me I was mean. It was only the second time she'd ever told me I was being mean, and I'm SURE it won't be the last. Hopefully we'll get our camera back soon, because the chickies were really cute MOST of the time. =)

And this is why we don't have Wii!

Oh and I love the way you had to explain "the rules" to ebay versus craig's list.
