She was so excited about going to school....yesterday. This morning she was nervous and grumpy and generally not having a fun time. I got this photo on our way out the door, and I was lucky with the shot because this was the only smile I saw all morning....until she popped out of the car and saw her lovely teachers! She gave them big hugs and hopped (literally) all the way into the school.
Like every other parent in the world on the first day of school, I cannot believe that she's already in K4, or Pre-K, or Second Year or whatever you want to call it. She's such a big girl now, and she was extra happy to see that the skeleton is back in her classroom. Lately Carly has been obsessed with bones and how blood works ("You mean blood GROWS inside your BONES?! Gross! Wait, is that gross or is it cool?") so she was stoked to greet Mr. Bones.I can't wait to see how much she'll learn and grow this year! =)

Hi Liz, Carly looked so beautiful I can't believe ther in pre-K already I miss our baby playdates at the Fisher's and our afternoon cocktails at the Mc'Coy's:) Have a great school year Carly we love you and Miss you guys!!!
