Fun Friday

Carly has been asking and asking to go to the zoo, so today after Bree's first nap we just picked up and went! The girls were very excited and we had a really fun time.

Even though it was H-O-T hot! Like Africa hot...the heat index is 102!
Funny Carly - she was such a good girl today! She got to pick where we turned at every intersection and we just stayed at the playground until we heard the train and went to ride it.
Following the leader...this lasted about three seconds. Those stairs were hot! It's so hard to believe that the next time we come to the zoo (believe me, we are not coming back until it's below 90, which is MONTHS away) Bree will probably be walking up these stairs.

This picture is so funny! And don't worry, grandmothers! I got to the leaf before it went in her mouth.

Aaaand she's off! The edge of her supercute new dress (Thanks, MomMom and PopPop!) did a great job of protecting her little knees from the bumpy playground surface.

She still got totally dirty, though!

Bree wanted so badly to pull up on these slides (doesn't she look huge???) but they were just too hot. A lot of the shade cover got blown away in the hurricane last year.

Hydration is serious business. Carly has the best highlights - the lady who cuts her hair told her that she (the hairdresser) spends $200 a month to get her hair that color. =)
