All week I've been telling myself that this procedure isn't a big deal because I was sort of freaking out, but it was SO not a big deal! Carly was out of my sight for about twenty minutes and since she adores her ENT, she was happy to go with her. Everything went well, and Carly woke up pretty happy and a little disoriented - she was telling everyone how MomMom was going to put her in a suitcase. =)

On the ride home. Note the hospital contraband (including the gown!). Every time a new nurse/tech/aid/doctor/patient walked by, Carly would ask "please may I have" and she got pretty much everything she asked for. We've also got a broken pulse/ox sensor, the gray air bag from the anesthesia, two pens and a blank nametag. =)

okay I feel better now... I couldn't figure out how YOU, the Mom, thought that surgery, even minor surgery, was NOT a big deal. The universe is back in order now. Give Carly big hugs and kisses from us. Glad all went well!
I haven't been keeping up with your blog like I normally do, so I had no idea Carly was going for surgery. I'm so glad that everything went well and wasn't a big deal. I hope she's feeling great. I know you must be relieved to have it all over with!
