Thank Goodness for Shatterproof Ornaments

Because all the ones that aren't, did. It was a very sad thing to come home to a sideways tree and a bunch of silver shards of glass all over our living room.

I think Paul is going to pick up a bigger tree stand on his way home from work today...that is, if the estimate from the electrician to fix whatever is wrong with all of our outdoor outlets isn't too much...it seems like Christmas doesn't want to stay at our house very much! =(

Oh No!! I hope Carly wasn't too upset.

When I was a little girl, I was trying to get our cat from behind the Christmas tree and knocked the whole thing over. I felt so bad!! That was before the shatterproof ornaments!

oh my gosh.... this is the saddest post you have posted in a LONG time. :( Christmas DOES want to stay at your house..... just a little bump in the road, but you'll be back in the Christmas spirit in no time!!!! little bumps... little bumps....
