Fort Worth Botanic Gardens - Part One (hopefully)

We only managed to see the very front part of the Gardens because we got rained out, but it's close and free, so we're going to go back when Carly wakes up, and we'll get to meet Beeda there. So cross your fingers it doesn't rain any more this afternoon!

Dancing like the frog!!!
About two minutes later! Poor baby and her battle scars. She's got both knees wrecked right now, and both elbows plus a place on her hand from falling down so much these last couple of days. Paul and I were talking about it and we figured that her allergies have her equilibrium all off....I posted this because our little drama queen wanted her Grammy and MomMom to see it. I think she understands that her grandmothers can see these photos even when they're far away and that they are probably the only people in the world who will make a big enough fuss about a booboo. It actually was a pretty nasty fall, poor thing. There was a gardener nearby who gave Carly a yellow flower and that helped a whole lot. Staggering around like her leg was broken helped a lot, too. =)
Once she could walk again, we began exploring! It is really pretty there - Carly was excited about this bridge! (Do you see her holding up her skirt in case it magically grew two inches and touched the booboo? D-R-A-M-A!)
Funny face at the lilly pond.
Feeling flowers. Carly found out that these flowers don't smell very good.
Then we went inside the building to use the restroom and we found Nemo in a huge fish tank. We then spent twenty minutes - no kidding - watching him swim around.
She got the brochure from the side of the tank to carry around as we walked. It was literally THE only way I could get her to willingly leave the building. Oh and she found these googly antennae in my purse. Do you remember them from that farm in Philadelphia over a year ago?
Then, yummy yummy lunch at Panera! Carly wanted to help me blow on my humongous chai latte, but she couldn't get up on her knees because she had "too many booboos for that" so she blew on it from two feet away. It really wasn't the size of her head, but close!
Silly little girl! She has the worst allergies here - she's so puffed up that she doesn't even look like herself anymore! Benadryl isn't touching it, either, poor little thing.

Oh, we'll have to show her the videos of you and her Uncle Daniel at the Botanical Gardens. Sometimes I wish time would go backwards. Boo boos do hurt, poor thing. Wait until the bath...oh my.

Awww... poor thing- you know- i think kids get "wobbly" when they grow. P goes through phases when she is more clutsy then others.... maybe she is in a growth spurt. Also- that last photo is SOOO cute of her- puff eyes and all! :)

Where is that video? Did Carly get pumped about the "flars"?
