Carly is a sweet monster mommy. She asked Marty if he wanted to smell the flowers!

Pretty - this little flower is about the size of a dime.

Soooooo cute!

We had Amanda to hang out with this afternoon (yay!) and we all went to the Japanese Garden - it was SO beautiful and peaceful there. I can't imagine the kinds of photos you could get from someone who had a decent camera and knows what they are doing! Paul will like this picture of Carly because he likes when she still sort of looks like a baby. =)

Mommy looks tired

Beeda and Carly feeding the enormous koi fish in the big pond in the middle of the garden.

Hear no evil, Speak no evil, See no evil, Be oblivous to evil (or attack it with Karate Kid moves)

Fun friends on the pretty bridge

Okay, SO FUNNY! Beeda bought lots of food, and Carly would throw handfuls of it right AT the fish...she'd wind up and say "Iiiiiiiii GOTCHA!"

Then we went to check out the rose gardens - we were in kind of a hurry because Carly and I had plans with my childhood friend and Amanda had a date with report cards (Carly and I had way more fun!). But look how amazing!

The view from the other side...usually there is a waterfall all the way down the hill, but it wasn't on today. Carly said it was thirsty. =)

I. LOVE. This. Photo.

I actually like Carly's face better in this one, but I was sneezing AND she's sort of glowing...

Tomorrow is the ZOO!!! My Dad2 (Paul's dad) makes so much fun of me - he said I was going to get an elephant for my birthday because we go to zoos ALL the time. I'm hoping they didn't have the elephant delivered tomorrow because we're not home, and it might make sort of mess if the UPS guy left alone by the kitchen door like all our other packages. =)
