We went to Audubon Park this morning - there isn't a playground, but it is so beautiful there and the weather has been sooo nice lately, it didn't matter. Shy little Carly striking a pose at this pavilion.

Two steps down from where Carly was standing, there was another brick platform right next to the water. We only had a few goldfish, but these crazy ducks must have smelled them when we got out of the car. They hung around us the whole time we were there!

We saved a few goldfish and Carly took a turn painting.

I love this photo - it was really so pretty. See the shadow on Carly's little cheek? Poor baby bonked her face on the see-saw.

Her artwork =) We got those paint brushes that have the paint already loaded inside, it was a huuuge hit once she figured out how to squeeze the brushes.

Over painting! On to skwee-yo (squirrel) hunting!

Then we found a bench on the side of the water and spent the better part of an hour there. We shared the rest of our goldfish with about five hundred skwee-yoes and then this crazy duck came quacking around.

Carly walked around the bench singing her little songs for about twenty minutes - it was so nice. We had such a great morning!

On our way out. She likes to dance on the gravel paths because they make a cool sound.

After Audubon, we picked up Carly's plate from last weekend (which she helpfully pulled off the counter and onto the floor - crash - within about two minutes after we got home) then we stopped at a super little coffee shop for a snack and then on to our new favorite store for Carly's birthday dress! She LOVES her crab dress!

So sorry that Carly already broke her plate-this probably wouldn't of happened if you hadn't been on the phone listening to all my venting today! Thanks=)
