Deceptively Delicious, Take One

Paul gave me the Deceptively Delicious cookbook for Christmas, and tonight was our first night of testing! We had the ranch dip with navy beans (it's great if you add twice as much spice as the recipe says, and throw in some dill) and then this for dessert...it looks good! It's oatmeal raspberry bars - the recipe calls for blueberry, but the commissary doesn't sell blueberry ANYTHING, much less low-sugar preserves - so I improvised with raspberry...
Which you are supposed to mix with 1/2 cup of spinach puree...do you think they'll know it's in there???
That is REALLY the color it is!!! I'm holding out hope that the whole raspberries will throw them off the scent, but that is VERY green. VERY. I can't look at this photo any more. But we'll let you know how the dessert goes over! =)

Well you're gonna have to let me know how that one comes out because, honestly, it looks well... GROSS! Sorry - I'm sure it's delicious :o) And to think I got my meyers briggs back today and it said I was the queen of tact - NOT!

OK, the top photo doesn't look too bad once you put it all together, but WOW I don't know how you managed to mix in the puree. Can't wait to hear the results! I hear the brownies with broccoli are pretty good.
