Then and Now

For some reason, this picture of tiny Carly sleeping is showing up really tiny...sorry...but this was her at seven weeks old, snoozing at Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop's house in my very favorite outfit of hers to date. She was so little!

And now she's a monster. I had an appointment this afternoon so I had to do the unthinkable and wake her up from a nap. But first, I wanted to document how gigantic she looks in her crib. This is why she's getting big girl furniture in a week!

She was so groggy, she just stared at me for a minute or two. I think she was also shocked that her mom, who considers naptime to be almost holy, would interrupt one for something as trivial as a hair appointment.

One thing my little bean does very well? Bed head! To rival no other.

Come ON, mom.

She wasn't really rolling her eyes at me...we haven't quite gotten to that phase yet; she was just so sleepy and trying to wake up. In about half an inch, she won't need the bumpers I took out to catapult herself out of the bed if she wanted to. The rail is already almost at her waist! She's such a monster. =)
