Happy 2nd Birthday, Paisley!

Paisley had her polka-dot party this morning and it was so cute and fun! All the kids had a blast and all of Paisley's mama's weeks of preparation paid off! We had a great time. =)

Carly really enjoyed playing with all of the circle things...like the millions of balloons, the matching bouncy balls, the bubbles...

She tried to bring these balloons back after the drifted away from the party.




















And then Paisley's Oma gave the birthday girl and Carly some fun chalk to play with!



















And then Carly stole Paisley's Mimi and they played with bubbles. Carly is totally a family-member stealer. It used to be just daddies but now it's grandmas and uncles and baby brothers...she's getting worse. She tried her best to steal baby Shayne's daddy away, but we reminded Carly that her own daddy is coming home soon, and she was okay again.

Carly and her new friend Hayden had a fun time rolling all the (pink and green!!!) balls around the field.



















You see that big pink ball over by Hayden? Carly had been sitting on it and it rolled out from under her!



















But she was undeterred - she just tried a smaller ball. And Hayden practiced tossing the balls all over the place.


















Oh! There's the ball! Look at that face!!! She's so funny.



















Carly missed Paisley, so she found her playing with Logan's sand toys. He did a very good job sharing with everyone even though it was so hard to do! And while we're here HOW CUTE is Paisley's dress??? It has ball fringe!!! We love it!


















Paisley wasted no time when it was time to open her gifts. She even said thank you to everyone.


















Carly and Paisley breaking in the bell jinglers. One of those three guys in the background - I think it's the one in the white shirt - works with Paul! He took the early part of their leave and he'll be heading back to Okinawa in a few days.



















Carly and the big pink bow from Target that she absolutely loves and adores. Every time we stroll down the wrapping paper aisle, she says hello to it.
























Cupcake buddies! (look at the ball fringe! It's so cute!)


















Icing messyface. She ate the tops off of three tiny little cupcakes and when I told her no more, she went immediately to Paisley's Mimi, took her by the hand and said "please can I have thee bithday CAKE?"
