So Sad Saturday

We are so sad to see Beeda go back home!

Here is Carly, looking just like her daddy, on our way out the door.

We had a yummy breakfast at my favorite little coffee shop in Southern California - Pannikin.
Carly loves the raspberry muffins. They are about the size of her head and so good!
Then she decided she was ready to get down...so she went through the arm of the chair.
And ran around and tried to steal Amanda's camera!
Then she squeezed a rose and said "niiiice."
After we were done with our breakfast, we headed down to the airport, but we had a little time left and a walk along the harbor is a hundred times more fun than sitting in a germy airport waiting room, so we took a little stroll.

I'm learning all kinds of things about San Diego...like that there are these cool sculptures up and down the harbor. This one is so beautiful.
This one is cool, with the fish and the lures. It's called "Half a Day Out From San Diego."
And this one is so funny with the huge ant!
And there are pirates!!!

This one said that Carly and Marina must be fairies, so she gave them some sparkly "jewels."
And Carly immediately began decorating the cannon. The pirate said "it must be the sprite in ye" with this crazy brogue. Carly said "Thank you, pilot" and waved as we left. It was really cute!

We miss you already! Carly said "Please can I have my Beeda?" as I was putting her to sleep!
