Our Morning and a Mini-Tour of Dillon

Sorry for the blurry photo...this is my mom on the way to her weekly group tennis lesson.
My dad took over Carly-care for the morning and I got to do something totally unheard of in my normal life: go to a coffee shop solo to read a book. I've been waiting two years to do that and it was wonderful. This is one of Dillon's main streets...notice how there are about six cars on the road and absolutely no trash in sight? Never In California.
I love this gigantic metal moose. In the winter, he sprouts holly, so he is a gigantic green and leafy moose.
The city library. Seriously, everything in Dillon with the exception of the tacky casinos, is postcard perfect.

Ooh! Sweetwater Coffe Co. is AWESOME! I love this place! I didn't get photos of it, but they have big sheets of canvas strung across the high ceilings and paper lanterns and little mirrors hanging down every now and then. It's so cool.
They make a great orangeade and here is super-sleepy Carly enjoying some. She looks exactly like her dad in this photo.
Speaking of dads, here's my dad hanging out on a cool retro couch, exactly where I spent a glorious hour all by myself.
Poppy and Carly reading Carly's new "choo-choo wain" book.
Ooh, pretty beads.
A little zoned out from getting about two hours of sleep last night. Sometimes getting adjusted to the altitude - Dillon is at 5,000 feet, not 10,000 feet like I first thought - makes people get a little stuffy and feverish and Carly dealt with that last night. After some Tylenol and TLC, she's feeling much better, though.
Grammy met us after her tennis lesson and before she went to practice some hymns on the Episcopal church's big beautiful organ. If anyone wants to know where I got the run-around-all-the-time habit, it's completely genetic.
Carly cracking up. I think she must have seen her hairdo. =)
