After naps, Grammy gave Carly a bowl full of water and a paintbrush and Carly went to town painting the driveway and the fence. Until she found a cup...
...Then it was way more fun to pour water on different things...like Mommy's feet,
her own head,
or Poppy's hands.
She asked for it...literally!
Soaking Carly. She loves this little outfit but it's almost too small with her big belly.
Then we went out in the pretty backyard to play with a tire swing that Grammy and Poppy moved back here. Poppy just finished the deck and the curvy walkway a few weeks ago.

This is Max, my parents' crazy dog. He stayed exactly like this for five straight minutes.
She fell down and then, "Please can I uppy my Poppy?"
Then Poppy got a workout with the 2-3-6...this was after Mommy's twenty-minute turn!The little box in the front is some scrap from the deck that Carly and Poppy build into different shapes a couple of times a day.
The whole group on the way to Shakespeare in the Park. This is the main square in Dillon and there was a great turnout for the show. We really had a good time.
But Carly was pretty sad at first. Her new peng-pin helped.
As did this stolen can of sugar- and caffeine-free soda from Poppy's armrest.
