We Have Great Saturdays!

I am so happy Carly is turning into the kind of little girl who likes to wear her foo-foo clothes everywhere. We went out to Home Depot and Lowe's this morning to look for some stuff for her playroom and she was a big hit with all the people there - all the construction guys told us about their daughters and granddaughters - it was really fun! Carly used her best manners and said "thank you" every time anyone told her she looked pretty!

When we got back, our friends Kalyn and Paisley came over to play! Kalyn brought some finger paints which were SO FUN! It started out innocently enough...
See that tiny little red dab of paint right on the tip of her nose? It was just a hint of what was to come.
First, we tried some handprints and Carly liked to do it all by herself.
She even showed me how.
And then!
I LOVE this laugh!!! She was having such a great time!

Then we dumped our little "Rainbow Brights" in the tub to clean off! Carly has bath markers, so they got to let out a little more creative energy before both collapsing for nice, long naps while Kalyn and I watched some of my Netflixed Sopranos and had some really yummy Thai food.

After she got up from her long nap, Carly was happy to see her potty! She was really sad to see Peace-Peace and Kaynin go home, though - we had SUCH a fun day!
