Playroom!

I always said if I had enough room, it would be great to give Carly a playroom...well, for the time being, we do actually have enough room and it was just going to waste, so I converted our bare "whatever room" to the best playroom EVER. We decided to run down to Ikea after church this morning and pick up a few odds and ends to finish it and Carly loves it ~ after her bath, I showed her the finished product and she says "ohhh, cute!" That's my girl.

She really likes the easel, even though she can only reach about the bottom six inches of the paper. We still have our computer and printer and stuff in the other corner, but when I can find an unbreakable mirror, that's going to be the dress-up area. I hung up these big color flashcards on that wall, too, but the printer and our office stuff isn't cute, so it doesn't get a photo. =)
These are the rugs! Of course we had to get the fishie rug and then this play mat is just too cute - there is everything, a castle, a volcano, a beach with an igloo about eight inches away, a city, an ice cream shop in the middle of the desert...it's great! Carly's been into cars lately, so this will be fun for her. Plus it was such a great deal at $14, it was meant to be.
