The Saga of the Radio Flyer

Carly's Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop are giving her a really cool Radio Flyer wooden-sides wagon for her birthday. She's gonna LOVE it. So...since it's easier for me to just get it here instead of doing the whole shipping thing, that's what we did. No big deal, they're on sale, I run out to Target to pick it up, and round the corner just in time to see a guy pulling the very last one off the shelf!

Oh, no! So I said I hoped that wasn't the last one and he said he hoped so, too, and then he sprinted down the aisle, like I was really going to tackle him and wrestle the thirty-pound box out of his cart. Whatever.

We ended up finding it priced $15 cheaper at the Encinitas Target (the shi-shi Target), which was cool, because then Carly also got a pink soccer with white polka dots from Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop. Yay!
And we had lunch! What you see above, is exactly what Marina ate. Two spoons of applesauce and a nibble of sandwich. My bruiser, on the other hand, ate her entire "meenatch" plus the other half of Marina's. Then I got this applesauce grin.
