We're working on hour two of the same meltdown right now...I say it's the same one because the arched back and yelling haven't stopped for two hours, but it's about all sorts of different things.
Apparently Carly now hates the following : waking up, having her diaper changed, putting pants on, milk, being in the highchair, NOT being in the highchair, walking, and sucking her thumb. Right now, she's doing her mad cry into a blanket in the middle of the floor - far from any hard objects that could hurt her when she goes into kicking mode. I feel so sad for her; it must be so frustrating to not be able to say what you want. On that note, if any of you have ideas as to what "notch" might be, let me know. She's been asking for it all day and I'm clueless.
So, all that is to say that our little girl is an overachiever. She turned two fully six months before most kids her age. She also correctly identified all the letters on her mega blocks bag, with the exception of "k" which she said was "x."
