We went to hang out with Liam for his birthday party today. He had tons of friends and family around and we really had a good time. This playpen is in the Medina living room, and Liam's dad calls it My First Prison because that's what it looks like...just with a million toys and (today) lots of small children. Here is Carly in the mix, stuffing her face, one of her favorite activities.

Playing with Piper! The last time we saw Piper, she was four months old!

I missed the greatest photo ever by about three seconds. Right before I grabbed my camera, Carly had been kicked back in this basket munching on her egg roll.

Other fun activities: begging food from strangers...with marinara sauce on her face! I swear, you'd think I starve her.

Liam had this cool rocketship jumpy - hopefully someone got a full-size photo of it! - and Carly's favorite thing was climbing out of the door.

She thought it was so funny to slide out!

The birthday boy himself munching on a strawberry and a celery stick from his cake...by the time we left, those were the only parts he was interested in! And did you notice his shirt??? It says "Little Casanova" which is PERFECT for Liam.

Carly getting down on a cupcake. She was a big fan of the bright pink frosting.

And the cake! Liam is allergic to dairy projects, so our genius friend Michelle made a dairy-free cake and frosting using tofu and orange juice for flavoring. It was so cute and it tasted good, too, not like "a whole lot of ---" like my Grandad likes to refer to vegan foods. Haha!
I'm still loving the green coconut fur and chocolate chip toenails.
