I didn't think to take pictures at Chick-Fil-A...but we went there first for a breakfast playdate with Avery, one of Bree's favorite friends. We dropped Carly off and school and headed right up, then after having eating a pretty respectable breakfast at home, Bree had another full meal and a bagel with cream cheese...then we went over to welcome some of our Quantico friends (back) to North Carolina! They just arrived a couple of days ago, so we all met and the kids got all muddy and crazy. It was a great way to spend a late-morning-early-afternoon.

Then, as soon as Carly got off the bus, we went down to the beach to meet yet a third set of friends! I'm starting to think that the April-September timeframe just about makes up for the October-March part of the year. I totally love the beach - it's soooo easy and the kids have a freaking blast. Hahaha okay and also? I've made it a new goal to see how many of these hilarious midair shots I can get of Carly. =)

After the week Carly has had at school with not-so-nice friends, it was WONDERFUL for her to get to spend some time with some good friends! They were looking at a crab shell, trying to decide if it was alive or not....it was...yikes!
On the way back to the car, the big girls were talking about changing their birthdays so they could be twins and Bree was just along for the ride.
Oh and if you were wondering - I'm still pregnant. It's sort of sad to me that I've only got a few more days out of my entire life to say those words. I mean, I guess I could say them as often as I want to, but there are only a few more days that they will be true. =)
