We are keeping this picture SMALL. I know it looks like I hadn't slept in two weeks...and that is because I hadn't slept in two weeks! We had Carly sleeping with us and then Bree thought that was a FABULOUS idea so we had two giggling, wiggling kids in our bed at about 4:30 every day. Weird, that's exactly what happened this morning, too. Not fun times! I have lots of friends in Baton Rouge who co-sleep with their families all in together, and as much as I admire them, I just honestly do NOT understand how they function on an ongoing basis. I'm like a bear - I need sleep, and lots of it. Or...well, see below. I look like Gollum's big sister.

We had a few friends over for NYD and had some yummy black-eyed peas I made with the big bone from our Christmas ham, a big pot of collard greens, brown rice and cornbread. Of course no one in MY family ate any of that. Paul literally turned up his nose, so spoiled! And Bree, God bless this child. She HAD been wearing a really cute outfit and ponytails, but all that came down in exchange for her favorite dress of all time and then she double-dipped her way through this veggie tray, dripping ranch dip down the walls and on the floor. Thank goodness we have a carpet shampooer.
