Day 4! The assignment is a photo of your night. I don't know what anyone else did, but this is my night. Right here (I unmade this corner of the bed for the photo - you're welcome) with these millions of pillows and this book - when you ask me what I want to do at any point during the day, the true answer (especially before 9am and between the hours of 4 and 7pm) is crawl right back here.
Sunday, Carly got to talk to her good friend Shepard in Baton Rouge. They were so excited to tell each other about school and Christmas then Shepard had to go ride his bike. Such sweet friends!
Carly and I had gone up to the awesome Potomac Mills to get her some nicer clothes and then we had a fashion show. Bree wanted to play along. =)
Meet Fully and Awesome, the stars of our show.
Twirl test! When you're five that is ALL that matters. I personally am having awww moments over Carly's saggy cotton tights. I love them so much. =)
Today I went to do a Kid's Marketplace and Reality Store (financial ed stuff) at this amazing school in Alexandria called the Burgundy Farm Country Day School. It was founded in 1948 as an integrated school, and is now a 'progressive' school which means I don't know what but I want my kids to go there. The campus is on 25 beautiful acres that I can image are just breathtaking during the non-winter seasons, with lots of different airy-looking buildings and a pool that was constructed in the 50's when the summer camps weren't allowed to swim at the community pool because the school was integrated and the school as not. It's also 22k a year per kid. For kindergarten. Yikes! I'm sure it's totally worth it, though! =)
