30 Day Project - Day 1

Totally stealing this from Steph. Thanks! =)
Are you so excited!!!! Day 1 is a pic of me and then 15 things ABOUT me. Wow!
1) I wish my biceps still look like they did in that photo - at my awesome amazing birthday party last year.

2) LOVE cooking. Love it! I don't like throwing some food on the table and calling it dinner - I love making healthy meals full of really healthy foods. It's so fulfilling!

3) I'm a military wife (as if the three of you didn't already know that)...it sometimes annoys me that people define me that way, but so much of what I do hinges on what HE is doing...I'm a military wife. Proud of my husband for who he is, not just the uniform he wears.

4) Am also working on becoming an accredited financial counselor. It's SO fun and interesting!

5) Enjoy exercise when exercise is climbing stuff, doing yoga, taking hikes in the woods and doing Crossfit or Metabolic Effect (esp when taught by a certain friend!!!) stuff. Do not enjoy exercise when it means running on a treadmill or an elliptical. Yawn.

6) I LOVE to read and prefer real books instead of digital ones. Some might say that it's just because I haven't ever used a Kindle and they are probably right.

7) Anthropologie, Sephora and Sur La Table are hands down my favorite stores, but I do most of my shopping at the Gap Outlet and Target. I've never even bought anything at Anthro, because the coolness is too intimidating. =)

8) I want another baby. Times, like a million. This is also something that everyone knows, and something that may or may not happen.

9) Try as I might, I am NOT organized at ALL. It seems like I have to work ten times as hard to accomplish normal stuff that people just do on a regular basis, like getting out the door on time, making sure we don't run out of laundry soap or milk and keeping my car clean.

10) Moving to North Carolina is going to be a challenge because there isn't a lot to do there. Fortunately there is a beach and the cost of living is low, but what in the world am I going to do without museums and a decent zoo?! For real!

11) My bucket list includes going on a safari in Africa and not a lot else, because I already floated in the Dead Sea. That was awesome. I would also like to have finished a marathon, but have no desire to actually train for or run one. It's just something I would enjoy having already done.

12) I think kids should be allowed to do as much for themselves as they possibly can, given their ages. I also believe that if a kid believes she can do something on her own, it's really rude and insulting to insist on doing it for her. This isn't a problem in our house, but I've seen it other places.

13) Education is very, very, very, very, very important to me. This is coming as a total shock, I know. Expect me to accept that DoD schools are good across the board and watch what happens. =) haha, THEN blame it on 'my' standards being 'unrealistic' and you can really watch some pretty fireworks. =)

14) I can only do one thing at a time if I expect to do it well. Multi-tasking when concentration is required is just not something my brain can do.

15) I. Love. My. Life. =)
