This week, everyone is showing their china patterns...either what they have, what they're collecting or what they would love to have. Some of the ones I've seen...SO beautiful! Anyway, as you know, Paul and I did not have a wedding, so there was no registry and there is no fine china in our house. Of course, it's definitely for the BEST that we do not have fine china because I would be having heart attacks every three years hoping none of it got broken when we move! I had a fun few minutes looking around, and these are a couple favorites: Lenox Vintage Jewel (top) and Kate Spade June Lane for Lenox. They are complete opposites, so it's also a good thing I don't have to decide any time soon. =)
Our everyday dishes are just a simple sage-banded ceramic I got at Target in 2006 when Carly and I were setting up our little house on Dolphin Drive getting ready for Paul to come home. It's actually a very popular pattern with TV producers, which may be why I can't find a photo online. The Big Love family has it, and I've seen it on Parenthood and Modern Family, too! =)

I wanted that Kate Spade pattern when we registered. Then I found out that my Mom was going to give us her china. It's pretty (white with a simple silver rim), but I LOVE the dragon flies!!!!
i saw in the american history museum (where i went just to see the collection of first lady inauguration ballgowns amazingggg)...anyways they also had on display the china chosen by each. now THAT is some china. but its like the living room no one uses, nice dishes just take up space. well unless its covered in thomas kinkade beauty, then it can be displayed on the wall
here is my china :)

I, like you, never got China. I am curious to see what I will like. I did fall in love with som eantigue china in an awesome Antique store. It was brown and white Toile. I went backto gaze at it some more the other day, and it was gone. :(
