You should know that the only reason I'm posting this photo is because the rainbow cake turned out so much better than I hoped. I would not post it if I felt sad or embarrassed about it, so don't feel bad for me at all. Laugh with me. =)Now tell me, if you read the next post before you saw this photo, did you imagine anything THIS ugly? Chances are, no. I'm sorry if this image will be burned into your mind. Truly, the most hideous cake of all time.
The saddest thing is that it didn't even TASTE good. My family was so kind to me and they said it was good, but they couldn't have been telling the truth. Don't ever buy a cherry chip box cake - it's just as gross as it sounds. =) Plus lemon can icing (gag) with cherry juice...oh it's all a disaster. I did make an effort with the lemon zest, though! Haha! =)
