So Quick It's a Day Early

-1-
Carly threw a big fit at swimming. She swears her teacher doesn't like her and I equally agree with that statement and do not blame her teacher given the fact that I'm not the biggest fan of whoever this screaming obstinate alien child is that I've been dropping off at swim every day precisely at nap time. Translation: everyone is miserable and it's all my fault. That must mean I'm doing it right, right? =)

-2-
Paul has decided once again that he doesn't want to use a property manager. I felt my blood pressure rise ten points at that moment. It's still up. One of us is probably not going to make it through the next ten days.

-3-
I tried to make homemade vanilla pudding today! I didn't cook it long enough, so it never set, and it is now in the freezer to be a smoothie ingredient. It's sooo super good, but vanilla soup doesn't sound appetizing. =)

I've done a couple of hours of P90X and am planning to go to yoga tonight to calm down. I haven't been this stressed in a long time and I'm not a fan. Paul's out of town for a couple of days and I'm sure he welcomes the break from this strange alien woman who looks like his wife but who keeps threatening to strangle him in his sleep. =)

-5-
I'm watching Persons Unknown but I might be the one person in the world who is. I like it!

The Poisonwood Bible is fascinating. I've been burning through books lately and I have been waiting for a really GOOD book. This one is a really good book.

When I have a rare minute to think about it, I'm pretty stoked about Carly's party. I think she will love it! I can't believe she's almost five and her party is in one week and two days! Crazy times.

I'm sorry your stressed! Just try and focus on the end, when you're in Quantico, and the house is rented. And let's not forget MY visit :o) Cyber hugs! Call me if you need to vent.

OMGosh! The Poisonwood Bible is such an amazingly beautiful, epic, painful, truth-filled, tale of womanly strength. Ye gads I love that book. I really have to say that Kingsolver is in my top 5 of authors though. I really appreciate how she elucidates. High-tide in Tuscon is a perfect book to keep in the car when you're running errands and have to wait here or there. Also, I'm just going to ASSUME that you've read Animal, Vegetable, Mineral.

If you wanna chat about PB after you're done, shoot me an email.

Oh and have you read The Red Tent by Anita Diamant yet? It's very much the same vein as PB, but in a totally different historical era.

Tell me why we didn't hang out when we lived 50 feet from each other? sheesh...

OK, I just looked on your page and saw that The Red Tent is on your to read list. Good! It is seriously one of the most pivotal reads of my life. I also saw that you had a Strout on your list. I loved her novel Abide With Me. What a lovely story of grace and personal strength.

Anyway, I will stop geeking out on books now.
