The Splashy Place (aka the Jambalaya Sprayground) opened today! It was *only* around 85 with intermittent clouds and a breeze, so it was a little chilly at times for the girls...not that they even cared. Carly would jump up, shrieking and running around, when the water would start spraying - so funny!
Here's Bree in her Daddy-approved one-piece bathing suit. Paul is just like I think any dad of girls would be, and he has very specific requests when it comes to swimwear...he likes his little girls to look like little girls...and these three totally adorable ruffles fit that bill! Lucky me found it on sale for a ridiculous price...everyone is happy. =)
Okay and Bree was soooo funny testing out the water. When a drop would get on her head, she would grab with both hands and say "OUCH!" then laugh and go back for more.
I had to laugh. Bree wanted so badly to go dance under that yellow umbrella but she wasn't sure about it yet...she marched with her little feet going up and down and moving forward in just tiny little quarter steps. It took her a full three minutes to get over there.
Carly = the most awesome child in the universe. She was rapping about the spraypark "Yo, my name is Carly and I like the spray"...she might have even thrown a "yee-ah boy-eee" out there which may or may not be a direct reference to our Vanilla Ice-like beatboxing session the other day.
You know what I love about this photo? Unless you look carefully, it's not too easy to tell who it is. (Bree)
Fun times until big sister goes loco with the bouncing action and the baby goes fly-ing. (She's fine)
The funniest part about this video is right at the end. She zoomed past me and then you see what she's looking for...when she finds it, her arms go out, like "FREEDOM!" This kid.
