In Case You Haven't Heard

No, not that, but you can feel free to be and I would be more than happy to throw you a shower. =)

We're not doing cards this Christmas. The pharmacy down the road prints them and I just got back (it's 7:30am) from running down to check to see if they were ready and they are not good. The print quality is terrible, so we didn't buy them. Plus the picture was terrible, but I was hoping when I selected it that it wouldn't be as bad on the card. Boy was I wrong! Haha, and the outfits were just a mess. Will someone please explain to me why there are no real-red leggings to be found right now?! Seriously, people.

I decided a while ago that I was going to have a no-stress, no running-around holiday. That's why we skipped the tree and the outside light drama and I finished shopping and wrapping and mailing two weeks before Thanksgiving. I even addressed the envelopes with high hopes for the cuteness of our Christmas cards.

But...it was not to be. Some may suggest that I send the ratty looking cards anyway, but that's not going to happen. I may not be rushing around, but that doesn't mean I've let my expectations slip! Haha, perfect is still the standard, y'all. As soon as I get a decent picture of both of these girls, I'll slap in on a card (one that is not printed by a crosseyed overworked Boudreaux at a pharmacy, maybe) and send it out with the appropriate holiday border. In fact, I'm going to send them at Mardi Gras because this is the last year I can reasonably do so and we'll just forget we had this little conversation, okay? Super.

Thanks for understanding! =)

I only wish for once I could be organized enough to send christmas cards but alas, NO. Cute photos of the girls are welcome any time of the year though!
