Today and Tomorrow

With the time change, our 6pm soccer practice was completely dark. I didn't see anyone I knew, so the girls and I skipped out and went to Whole Foods for dinner. I asked Carly as we were leaving the YMCA if it would be alright with her if we did that instead and she goes, "Um, YEAH." Haha!

The girls had some pizza and gelato and both spent the entire meal dancing to the live bluegrass band playing in the cafe area. It was kind of a Cajun bluegrass band, and the bass player would yell "eeee-YI" every now and then and Bree would spin around in her chair looking for the noise. When the audience would clap, she would clap and say "yaaaaay!" So sweet. Carly spent about two seconds sitting and the rest of the time dancing. I have two friends who will love to know that CARLY chose honey-lavendar gelato, and Bree and I shared the apricot-brie flavor and they were both yummmmy.

Tomorrow we have painfully early soccer and then we're off to New Orleans. Paul will be in meetings all day, so the girls and I will play at Audubon park because I love it so much and I know they'll have a great time running around out there. Paul arranged for childcare to be provided in the hotel where the ball will be held, which is so convenient, and the girls will go there around 3 or 4. I'm just so excited about it! We're a little thrilled that we got two awesome dates in one week. =)
