**Edited: Please disregard the last paragraph. That's not until NEXT week, but the cupcakes (esp the frosting) were super amazing and delicious. Paul still thinks the thing about the dolphins though and no amount of Wikipedia will change his mind.**
No, it's not anyone's birthday! We just had an overload of cuteness today.
Also, my camera got buried in sand at the park this morning, so it's a goner. The lens makes this sad grinding noise when it tries to open...I swear to you there is always that ONE kid in mismatched Garanimals whose mom is not paying any attention, and if he's not pushing kids down or climbing up the slides, he's playing kill-the-camera or pouring out people's drinks. That's what this little angel was up to today. Poor kid, his mama probably never reads him stories.
Anyway.
Bree thinks Carly's underwear is the coolest. She carries it around and stomps her little feet until I put it on her (you have to tuck it into her diaper), or she puts in on her head frat-boy style. One of Carly's newer responsibilities is to put away her dresser clothes, which means that there is pretty much always a stack of laundry sitting in the blue chair outside her bedroom door...perfect destruction location. =)
ALSO, that crazy baby has been kicked out of the bathtub for now. No really, I'm only cleaning her by putting her in the shower with me. See, Bree has continued in her effort of what seems to be her lifelong goal of giving me a heart attack. Yesterday, she slipped while trying to crawl in the tub and her face went in the water. She exhaled a big burst of bubbles which she thought was awesome and hilarious. And ever since then I couldn't keep her from putting her face in the water to do it again. Her face. In the WATER. So, Bree + collections of water other than her sippy cup = not happening any time soon.
Paul is home and we're off to celebrate Jim and Pam's wedding. This is what happens when you get old and boring like us (haha)...you get excited about TV weddings. I made delicious wedding cake cupcakes with vanilla Swiss meringue frosting (soooo much better if you use salted butter!) and we're excited to dive in. This just in: Paul just told me that Albacore tuna is dolphins. Hm.
