Hi! Guess what I got!!! That's right! And I love it....I'm still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles (there are LOTS!)...so totally fun! Thanks, honey! =)

This little puddin' head (literally) was pretty happy to see a camera, too! Look at that smile! It might have something to do with the genetic predisposition to being a mess that my girls seem to share, though!

Playing with Miss Allison (who was awesome and stayed overnight so Paul and I could enjoy our night out!) while I was getting ready to go. Bree loves this crawling tunnel so much, she always starts laughing and running around when we bring it out.

Then today on our way to David's birthday party. Carly was such a good girl despite her late night game of musical beds which resulted in her not getting to sleep until around 11pm. I've decided that her cuteness in this costume and her little witch laugh totally make up for the un-creative factor. It's the TIGHTS that really just kill me though - the stars, I love them.

I wish you could see the looks on the kids faces. They were looking at this lady like, "What in the world are you doing." It was so funny. And the lady was totally into her songs, dancing around and singing in a Broadway voice...it was kind of weird. Toward the end, she broke out the little egg shakers and the kids did like that...

So Carly and I spent an hour at David's party (this is after we spent three hours at Hollydays), and then we went to our playgroup's Halloween party. Now you tell me. Is this little monster costume or is it not THE most hilarious and adorable costume you have ever seen?! I can't wait to figure out how to work the video on my new camera because Bree walking around in her puffy polka dot monster costume is the cutest thing in the world.

So, so cute.

Paul and I had an great time at our anniversary dinner last night. We went to the Commander's Palace, which is a 130 year old restaurant in New Orleans. We had country gumbo and their famous turtle soup to start and then Paul had a soft-shell crab and I had sliced duck breast which was sooo unbelievably amazing. I'd never had duck before and it sooo good...I've been thinking about it all day. Then, as if we had any room for dessert, we got dessert - bread pudding soufflee and some chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream - and they had written "Happy Anniversary" around the edges of our plates with fudge sauce. It was so amazing! But it took us a full half hour to decide what we wanted because this restaurant was such a complete departure from our normal dining options. =)

We stayed at the CBQ (Combined Bachelor Quarters) which was on the base where we used to live. It was much nicer than I was expecting even though the suite set-up with four individual rooms opening onto a small unfurnished common area was a little strange, and we were perfectly comfortable right up until 5:15am when one of our neighbors' alarm clock started going off and Paul had to argue with the receptionist for half an hour until he finally got a Marine on the phone to come upstairs, open the room, and turn off the clock. Such adventures! Anyway, you've already read about our insane but fun day today, and now we're looking forward to doing a whole lot of nothing tomorrow until Carly's makeup soccer game at 3.

Happy Anniversary Fisher's!! Carly and Bree's custome's are adorable:0
HA... I got the same "unimaginative" witch costume, tights and all, for Maggie. She wanted to be a witch and that one was adorable, not ugly black or scary. My mom also bought her little red riding hood which is so, so, so cute! Luckily we have 2 parties and the embassy to go to so lot's of opportunity for both costumes!
And Bree the monster LOVE IT!
Oh and Happy Anniversay and YEAH for a new camera. Just keep it away from the sand!
