Carlyisms

Paul and Carly had their weekly Sunday-afternoon date yesterday. Usually they go to the museum, but they got a late start, so they headed to the mall to ride the carousel and explore the toy stores.

When Carly came home she was SO excited about the "America-round." That is so awesome...I love it! I can think of a couple of our patriotic friends who would love it, too. =)

In the last couple of months we also picked up "summer burn" for sunburn...which is perfect because you don't really talk too much about sunburns in other seasons!

I'm not going to post photos of this fondant mess until I get it right. It's not that it's really all that hard, it's just adding a little bit of a challenge when a certain four year old keeps putting her wet soapy hands in it and then running off for more water and soap when her hands get sticky. She's calling it "cupcake playdough," and that is so cute. =)

so cute...i love when little kids come up with their own way of putting things...it really is so fun to listen to them!!! :)
